The client envisioned a Web3-native community chat system that extends beyond traditional messaging. They sought a platform with exclusive access, verifiable identities, and meaningful interactions—all secured by blockchain technology.

Wallet-Based Access: Users authenticate ownership by connecting their wallets, gaining entry to token-gated or open chatrooms.
Customizable Membership Rules: Chatroom entry conditions vary, including staking tokens, holding DAO governance tokens, or owning 1/1 NFTs.
Flexible Entry Options: While some chatrooms require token-based access, others allow instant participation with a single click.
Automated Verification: The platform retrieves token data from public sources to validate user holdings in real time.
Community-Driven Governance: Room owners manage access rules, moderate discussions, and incentivize engagement through token rewards.

My Role

As the Lead Web3 Developer at Trollbox, I built the full-stack application using Next.js. I implemented the user interface, integrated blockchain functionalities, and developed backend logic to facilitate seamless communication between system components. My work ensured a smooth and efficient user experience tailored for Web3-native communities.

Team

I collaborated with the UI/UX design team to bring their designs to life and worked closely with the Project Manager to align development goals, prioritize features, and drive efficient execution.
