Unemployables is a collection created to bring together a tight-knit community of people that find passion in their work. Unemployables find an elegance in simplicity, believe in driving culture, and celebrate life without limitations.
The client reached out on urgently, as their NFT project was set to mint that same day, but their previous developer had gone missing. They needed immediate assistance verifying and deploying a new smart contract and developing their minting website. The original contract was built using ERC721Enumerable, but they wanted a low-gas alternative like ERC721A.
Key Features
- Optimized ERC721A Contract: Reduced minting costs for users.
- Seamless Web3 Integration: Users could easily connect their wallets and mint NFTs.
- Responsive UI: Designed an intuitive and responsive minting site for a smooth experience.
- On-Time Delivery: Despite the tight deadline, the project was completed successfully before the mint deadline (less than a week).
My Role
I completely rewrote the NFT smart contract from scratch, optimizing it with ERC721A to significantly reduce gas fees. I also developed and deployed the minting website, ensuring a seamless interaction between users and the contract. Additionally, I handled contract verification and deployment, making sure it was secure, thoroughly tested, and ready on time for the pre-mint and public sale.
Achievements
The Unemployables NFT collection was a massive success, generating over $450,000 in private and public sales. With ERC721A optimization, gas fees were as low as 31.3 gwei per transaction. The collection sold out in just 30 minutes, making it the fastest-selling NFT project I've worked on. It has since accumulated a total trading volume of 2,764 ETH on OpenSea, equivalent to approximately $10,312,720 at an ETH price of $3,730.
